Goa: Actor and film critic Kamaal R. Khan (KRK) has stirred fresh speculation surrounding the Mahadev Online Book betting app investigation after claiming on social media that television personality Shefali Bagga disclosed the names of several prominent individuals during her questioning by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) a couple of days ago.
In a post on X, KRK wrote: “Few days ago @dir_ed did interrogation of #ShefaliBagga in connection of Mahadev App Ghotala. And according to my sources, she has revealed 5-6 big names.”
However, KRK did not provide any evidence to support the claim, and the Enforcement Directorate has not officially confirmed that Shefali Bagga named any individuals during the questioning.
The ED recently questioned BigBoss contestant Shefali Bagga in connection with the 6000 crore alleged Mahadev Online Book betting app case. The agency is investigating financial transactions and the alleged promotion of online betting platforms as part of its broader probe.
As of now, neither the ED nor Shefali Bagga has publicly responded to KRK’s claim. There has also been no official statement identifying any additional individuals allegedly named during the interrogation.
The Mahadev Online Book case remains one of India’s largest alleged online betting and money laundering investigations, with multiple agencies probing the financial network, overseas operations and alleged beneficiaries linked to the platform, which also included hawala operations.
Recently the alleged kingpin of this 6000 crore Mahadev Betting App, Sourabh Chandrakar was detained in Oman, with the Indian authorities initiating the process to secure his extradition. He was being held for traveling on an alleged fake Indonesian passport on the name similar to that of a Srilankan cricketer – “Ajanta Mendis”. Sources have confirmed that Chandrakar was taken into custody by the Royal Oman Police following an Interpol Red Notice issued at the request of Indian investigative agencies.
