New Delhi, February 02 (HS): Congress President and Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge said that the opposition wants a discussion on economic issues in the Parliament, but the central government does not want to talk about it.
On Thursday, Kharge said that the leaders of all the parties agree that the issue is discussed in the House. The government is handing over the country’s money to a few industrialists by ruining LIC and other institutions, which is not in the interest of the country, he said. Kharge had given notice for discussion on these subjects in Parliament, but his notice was rejected.

Kharge held a meeting with the leaders of the opposition parties on Thursday. After the meeting, Kharge tweeted that he had a meeting with like-minded political parties in preparation for the ongoing budget session of Parliament. During this, he made a strategy to raise the issues of public interest in the Parliament.
