Tejasvi Yadav hails the central government’s road construction efforts

Chapra/Patna, 19 March (HS): Always critical of the BJP government in Delhi, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejasvi Yadav witnessed a change of heart after the CBI raided his premises and was all praise for the central government for the speedy construction of roads in Bihar.

In a letter to Road Transport and National Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari, Yadav wrote, “Your ministry is constructing roads of high quality in Bihar at a speedy pace and road infrastructure is developing as per national standards. And for this, I feel personally obliged.”

He has said that despite speedy work, some of the roads belonging to the National highway are incomplete and need to be completed soon. Adequate directions to concerned officials to complete those roads sooner please be given, he requested.

Tejasvi Yadav said that those five roads include Maheshkhoot-Purnia NH 107, Hazipur-Muzaffarpur NH 77, Hazipue-Chapra NH 19, Patna-Gaya NH-83 and Virpur-Kishanganj NH 100.
