Pune, March 19 (HS): Amravati’s Integrated Textile Park, one of the seven textile parks to be built across the country under the Pradhan Mantri Mitra Yojana, will emerge as the main centre. Twenty one lakh people are likely to get employment through all these parks.
According to union Minister Piyush Goyal, several major decisions have been taken recently under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in which approving the PM Mitra scheme is a major decision. He said that Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Assam, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Telangana governments have shown interest in developing Mitra Park. Seven lakh people will get direct and fourteen lakh indirect employment through this new approval.
For a strong hold in the field of economy, a target has been set to move forward through 5F. 5F i.e. Farm to Fiber, Fiber to Factory, Factory to Fashion and Fashion to Foreign, all these links together will strengthen the value chain, which is now all separate.
