Patna, 28 Jan (HS): Nitish Kumar took oath as Bihar’s Chief Minister for the record ninth time on Sunday, leading a new government established in collaboration with the BJP.
Samrat Chowdhury, the state BJP chief, Vijay Kumar, and numerous others took their oaths alongside him at Raj Bhavan. This is also the seventh time in a decade that the 72-year-old has shifted political loyalties, with the regularity of the procedure earning him the nickname “Paltu Kumar”. Kumar had left the BJP in 2022.
