New Delhi, 28 Jan (HS): According to reports, Nitish Kumar would be assisted by two Deputy Chief Ministers in the new administration that will be constituted with the BJP’s backing. Samrat Chaudhary, the Bihar BJP president, and Vijay Sinha, the Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar legislature, will be named Deputy Chief Ministers, sources said. JP Nadda, the party’s national leader, will visit Patna this evening to finalize Bihar’s realignment with Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal (United), or JD(U).
Yesterday, news surfaced that BJP politician Sushil Kumar Modi, who served as Nitish Kumar’s deputy when the BJP and JD(U) were in coalition in the state, is wanted again. When Sushil Modi was Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister, the Opposition frequently referred to him as “Nitish Kumar’s man” for his vocal support for the Chief Minister.
