Varanasi, February 23: In a recent event at the Swatantrata Bhawan Auditorium of Banaras Hindu University, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath lauded the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in elevating the spiritual and cultural stature of Varanasi on a global scale. Highlighting the construction of the first Hindu temple in the United Arab Emirates as a monumental effort led by Prime Minister Modi, Adityanath emphasized the city’s ongoing transformation while retaining its rich spiritual and cultural essence.
According to Adityanath, the inauguration of the temple in Abu Dhabi by Prime Minister Modi is a testament to Varanasi’s expanding cultural influence worldwide. He remarked on the city’s rejuvenation over the past decade, showcasing its heritage in a new light. The Chief Minister also noted the Prime Minister’s dedication to the development of Varanasi, his parliamentary constituency, through his involvement in late-night inspections of local development projects.
Praising the Prime Minister’s commitment to development and cultural preservation, Adityanath stated that Modi has significantly enhanced Varanasi’s ancient heritage on the international stage. The event was also attended by notable figures including BJP State President Chaudhary Bhupendra Singh, Prof. Nagendra Pandey of the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Trust Council, and other distinguished guests, marking a collective endorsement of Varanasi’s cultural and spiritual advancement.
