On Friday in Srinagar, Tarun Chugh, the BJP’s national general secretary and J&K in-charge, praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for pioneering new opportunities for the youth in Jammu and Kashmir. Chugh highlighted the transformative progress in J&K post the revocation of Article 370, pointing out the development unrest among the National Conference (NC), which he accused of opposing the region’s prosperity. He criticized the NC and the Abdullah dynasty for historically stifling the youth’s potential and pushing them towards dissent and violence. In contrast, Chugh commended the BJP’s efforts in integrating J&K’s youth into the nation’s development narrative. He lauded the abrogation of Article 370 by the BJP, marking a new era of peace, prosperity, and growth under PM Modi’s leadership, including the launch of projects worth Rs 32,000 crore aimed at uplifting J&K.
