Mathura, 21 February (HS): Cultural nationalism in India is rectifying the sectarian, cruel, and criminal crimes of foreign invaders, according to senior BJP politician Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Wednesday. According to Naqvi, India is the “powerhouse of cultural nationalism” and is embarking on the road of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’ with the firm determination of constitutional secularism.
Speaking at the Brij Sahitya Utsav at Sanskriti University, the former union minister stated that India is the only country in the world where people of all religions, as well as those who do not practice any religion, coexist and thrive. “The criminal, communal and cruel acts of some foreign invaders are also being rectified through the determined power of this cultural nationalism,” Naqvi went on to say.
He stated that constitutional secularism is incomplete without cultural nationalism, which is a potent symbol of unity in difference. He emphasized the importance of events like literary festivals in preserving our cultural legacy and identity. Bharat Kala Kendra Chairman Vishnu Goyal, renowned writer-poet Ashok Chakradhar, and Sanskriti University Chancellor Sachin Gupta also attended the ceremony.
