Tamilisai Soundararajan, aged 62, served as the second Governor of Telangana from November 2019. Additionally, she held the role of Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry on an interim basis from February 2021. Speculations suggest that the BJP may nominate her as a candidate for the sole Lok Sabha seat in Puducherry, which is currently held by the Congress party.
