Ranchi, 13 November (HS): Tight security arrangements have been made for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Jharkhand on November 14 and 15 on the occasion of Lord Birsa Munda Jayanti and State Foundation Day. The Prime Minister will be on a Jharkhand tour for two days. He will reach Birsa Munda Airport in Ranchi by special plane on 14th November. They will rest at Raj Bhavan at night. On the morning of 15th November, he will first visit ‘Bhagwan Birsa Munda Memorial Park cum Freedom Fighters Museum’ located in Ranchi.
During this period the Prime Minister will hold a road show in Ranchi. After this, the Prime Minister will leave for Ulihatu in Khunti district, the birthplace of Lord Birsa Munda, by helicopter from Ranchi Airport. The Prime Minister will garland the statue of Lord Birsa Munda in Ulihatu. Will also talk to their family members. After this, he will participate in the program organized in Khunti itself.
The Prime Minister will stay in Khunti for about two and a half hours. The Prime Minister will visit the Tribal Exhibition here. Will also talk to tribal achievers. Apart from this, he will launch the ‘Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ from the land of Lord Birsa Munda. During this time he will also launch the short film and portal of PVTG Mission. Under the proposed program of the Prime Minister, the foundation stone of various schemes will be laid and inaugurated. After the program in Khunti, the Prime Minister will come to Ranchi Airport by helicopter. After that, we will leave for Delhi in our special plane.
As soon as the news of the Prime Minister’s visit to Jharkhand was received, a high-level meeting was held in the Jharkhand Ministry on the night of Diwali. The meeting was attended by many top officials including State Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh and DGP Ajay Kumar Singh, Home Secretary, ADG Operations, IG Operations. In the meeting, security arrangements during the Prime Minister’s road show were discussed. There will be tight security arrangements from Ranchi Airport to Raj Bhavan regarding the Prime Minister’s roadshow. Most of the cuts on both sides of the road will be closed from the morning of 14th November. More than 3000 soldiers from different wings have been called to Ranchi.
