Jammu, 25 November (H.S) : Expressing serious concern over the deteriorated security situation, especially in Rajouri-Poonch, and demanding immediate strengthening of security network, the Congress Party has questioned the presence of dreaded militants in ruling BJP cadres and termed it a serious issue of security threat.
Addressing a press conference at PCC HQ here today, JKPCC working president Raman Bhalla and senior vice president & incharge media Ravinder Sharma questioned the presence of dreaded terrorists in BJP ranks, as two of them have been arrested just two days ago, along with huge weapons, in Kashmir Valley.
?Earlier too, a dreaded terrorist and LET top commander Tallib Hussain Shah was found holding very important position in ruling BJP and had gained access to various important events and areas including with Home Minister Amit Shah, being in the ruling party,? the Congress leaders said. He was mastermind behind the revival of terror activities not only in Pir Panjal and Reasi but in different parts and was a top commander.
The senior Congress leaders said now, again two terrorist aides have been arrested with huge haul of weapons in Kashmir, who have been in the ranks of ruling BJP. ?Does BJP?s slogan of ?Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas? also includes dreaded terrorists, as being reflected in media,? they said and sought explanation to the nation from BJP and advised the saffron party to screen its ranks and cadres.
Saluting the martyres and expressing serious concern over the over series of terrorist activities and incidents right from Dhangri in Rajouri-Ponch and adjoining parts of Reasi, the Congress leaders said that the Government is in deep slumber and only making false claims of normalcy whereas ground situation is grim.
The Party demanded strengthening of security network in Kalakote area and demanded a thorough investigation into the entire episode as to how despite information such a huge loss of army and nation has taken place.
PCC general secretaries Narinder Gupta and PCC media coordinator Neeraj Gupta were present in the press conference.
