Vishnu Deo Sai Sworn in as Chhattisgarh's Fourth CM

Delhi, 13 December (H.S) : Vishnu Deo Sai, the BJP Legislative Party leader and MLA from Kunkuri seat, was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh in Raipur on December 13. This significant event marks the beginning of Mr. Sai’s tenure as the fourth Chief Minister of the state since its establishment in 2020.

Along with Mr. Sai, Arun Sao and Vijay Sharma, both MLAs, were also sworn in as Deputy Chief Ministers in a grand ceremony at the Science College ground. The oath of office and secrecy was administered by Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan, in the presence of notable political figures such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP president JP Nadda, union ministers Amit Shah and Nitin Gadkari, and Chief Ministers of other states. Mr. Sao, a member of the influential Sahu (Teli) OBC community, and Mr. Sharma, a Brahmin and State BJP’s general secretary, bring diverse backgrounds and experiences to their roles as Deputy CMs. This new leadership marks a significant moment for Chhattisgarh and its people, with high hopes for positive change and progress under Mr. Sai’s leadership.
