Modi Govt prioritised development of neglected areas : Ashok Kou

Poonch, 12 November (H.S): Ashok Koul, general secretary (Org.), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir said that the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi led Government did all those works in these nine years which were never done by the previous Governments.

Addressing the local residents, Ashok Koul said that the development and the prosperity of the region are directly linked to the decision taken by the people themselves. He attributed the unprecedented development of the remote areas in the hilly region to the decision of the people to choose Modiji as the PM in 2014 and 2019. He said that the Modi Government is committed for the welfare of people in every single area that was left neglected earlier.

Koul added that the massive public response to the BJP programmes in every district, Mandal and booth, itself speaks that the people have made up their mind to stand by BJP and vote overwhelmingly in its favour in general elections. He said that a large number of mega development projects related to road, rail, air connectivity, healthcare, education, social welfare schemes for every section of the society has proved that Narendra Modi did what was never done by the previous Governments.

He asked the party cadre to remain in regular touch with the masses and keep reminding them about the pro nation, pro development programmes and policies of Narendra Modi Government.

Koul addressed three-meetings organized in connection with the Booth Jan Samvad programme organized at BJP Office Pooch, Panchayat Chandak, War No. 9 and 10 Surankote in district Poonch.

Poonch district president, Rajesh Raina, district Prabhari, Rajinder Gupta, spokesperson, Sunil Gupta, senior leader, Shehzad Khan, Mandal president, Mehtab Bukhari and other party leaders also accompanied Ashok Koul in these programmes.

Similar programmes were held in Booth 27, 28 and 29, Ward No 9, Karan Nagar, Amphalla Mandal, in Jammu.

Another programme was held in booths 114 and 115, Panchayat Lorkote in Mandal Doongi under Assembly constituency Rajouri in district Rajouri.
