New Delhi, 2 June (HS): Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who was out of Tihar Jail on interim bail of twenty-one days, surrendered in jail on Sunday, June 2 after his bail period ended. Before this, he took the blessings of his parents while leaving his residence, then went to Rajghat and paid tribute to Gandhi.

After this, he went to Hanuman Temple at Connaught Place and from there went to the Aam Aadmi Party office and addressed the workers. Kejriwal said that the Supreme Court had given an extension of 21 days. During this period he did not rest but campaigned across the country. Kejriwal said that he is going to jail on Sunday because he has raised his voice against corruption. Raids were conducted at more than five hundred places, but not single evidence was found. He said that all the exit polls that are coming are fake. What was the need to conduct exit poll three days before counting? He asked the workers to remain at the spot till the end of the counting of votes. Move out only after matching of EVMs and VVPATs. Delhi Minister Gopal Rai said that Arvind Kejriwal is going to jail again today, we hope that he will come back from jail again.
