PM to go to Bhopal on Saturday, flag off Vande Bharat train

New Delhi, 30 March (HS): PM Modi will attend the Joint Commanders Conference-2023 in Bhopal on Saturday and will flag off the Bhopal-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express train.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the Prime Minister will participate in the Joint Commanders’ Conference-2023 at Kushabhau Thakre Hall in Bhopal at around 10 am. After this, at around 3:15 pm, the Prime Minister will flag off the Vande Bharat Express train between Bhopal and New Delhi at Rani Kamlapati Railway Station.

Joint Commanders’ Conference -2023

The three-day Army Commanders’ Conference is being held from March 30 to April 1,

on the theme “Ready, Resurrect, Contextualise”. The conference will also review the preparedness of the armed forces and progress in the defence ecosystem towards achieving “self-reliance”.

The Commanders of the three Armed Forces and senior officials of the Ministry of Defence will participate in the conference. Inclusive and informal interactions will also be held with soldiers, sailors and airmen from the Army, Navy and Air Force who will contribute to the deliberations.

Vande Bharat Express

Vande Bharat Express has redefined the passenger travel experience in the country. The new train being started between Rani Kamalapati Railway Station, Bhopal and New Delhi Railway Station will be the 11th Vande Bharat train in the country. The indigenously designed train set of Vande Bharat Express is equipped with state-of-the-art passenger amenities. It will provide a faster, more comfortable and more convenient travel experience for rail users, promote tourism and boost economic development in the region.
