Kathmandu, 30 Nov (HS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Nepali counterpart Pushpakamal Dahal Prachand are likely to hold an informal discussion on the outlines of the 28th session of the UN Convention on Climatic Changes, COP-28 to be held in Dubai.
Dahal left for Dubai late on Wednesday evening. The convention is being held from November 30 to December 12.
Dahal will address the members of COP-28 on Saturday, his Personal Secretary Ganga Dahal said. Prior to this, Dahal will also deliver a speech at Nepal-UAE Business Summit and meet the Nepali community in UAE.
Heads of several countries will attend the COP-28. During the four-day UAE visit, Dahal is likely to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A discussion related to coordination between the Foreign Affairs Ministries of both countries is being discussed.
