New Delhi, 30 November (HS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Thursday that in the last five years, more than 13 crore people in the country have come out of poverty.
The Prime Minister was speaking after distributing appointment letters to more than 51,000 youths in various government departments through video conferencing. This employment fair was organised at 37 places across the country. He said that the employment fair paves the way for the youth to become the creators of ‘developed India’.
Giving best wishes to the newly appointed youth at the employment fair for the future, the Prime Minister said that the campaign to give jobs to millions of youth in the country is continuing. Today, more than 50,000 youths have been given appointment letters for government jobs. These appointment letters are the result of your hard work and talent.”
The Prime Minister said that Babasaheb Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Constitution, had dreamed of a nation that would provide social justice and equality of opportunity to all. Unfortunately, after independence, the principle of equality was ignored for a long time. Before 2014, a particular class of society was deprived of certain basic amenities.
He said that after independence, the principle of equality in the country was ignored for a long time. Modi said that from 2014 on, “we started moving forward” with the mantra ‘Preference to the underprivileged’. The government itself reached out to those who never got the benefit of the schemes.
The Prime Minister, citing a study, said that in five years, more than 13 crore people in the country have come out of poverty.

Large institutions around the world are very positive about the growth rate in India. Modi said that the RERA (Real Estate Regulations Act) has brought transparency to the real estate sector.
