New Delhi, November 29 (HS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with the beneficiaries of the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra through video conferencing on November 30 at 11 a.m.
According t the Prime Minister’s Office, during this time, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate the Mahila Kisan Drone Centre. It will provide drones to women self-help groups (SHGs) so that they can use this technology to enhance their livelihoods. During the next three years, 15,000 drones will be provided to women’s self-help groups.
During the programme, the Prime Minister will dedicate the historic 10,000 th Jan Aushadhi Centre at AIIMS, Deoghar. Apart from this, the Prime Minister will also start a programme to increase the number of Jan Aushadhi centres in the country from 10 to 25,000.
It is noteworthy that both these initiatives of providing drones to women SHGs and increasing the number of Jan Aushadhi Centers from 10 to 25,000 were announced by the Prime Minister during his Independence Day speech earlier this year.
