The budget session of the Goa Assembly will begin today

New Delhi, 27 March (H.S): The Goa Assembly’s five-day budget debate will start today and end on March 31. The Goa Budget for 2022 24 is anticipated to be presented on Tuesday by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant.

The Goa Restriction on Transfer of Agricultural Land Bill 2023, which aims to place restrictions on the transfer of agricultural land to preserve and protect paddy cultivation, was passed by the state cabinet, according to CM Sawant, who announced this on Twitter on Saturday.

The budget for this year, according to CM Sawant, will put an emphasis on issues like education, healthcare, sanitation, tribal welfare, and other issues while remaining practical and forward-looking.

The state administration has come under fire from the opposition parties for the short-lived Assembly session.

Several crores of rupees, according to Opposition Leader Yuri Alemao, are spent on government self-glorification activities.

The leader of the opposition, Yuri Alemao, claimed that the government spends several crores of rupees on self-glorifying events and that there will be ads during the upcoming Assembly session.
