What’s Going On ? Delhi-Jammu Highway Accident: 7 Dead, 20 Injured
Delhi, 24 May (H.S): Early on Friday morning, a tragic accident occurred on the Delhi-Jammu National Highway resulting in the death of seven people and leaving 20 others injured. The victims were travelling in a mini-bus with over 30 members of a family on their way to Vaishno Devi in Jammu.
The accident took place near Ambala when the truck ahead of the bus suddenly applied brakes, causing the bus driver to crash into the truck. Witnesses reported that another car unexpectedly made a turn at a petrol pump, leading to the truck driver’s sudden braking. Unfortunately, three members of the family lost their lives on the spot while four others succumbed to their injuries at the hospital. The remaining passengers are being treated for serious injuries at various hospitals.
