Cooperation Minister Amit Shah launches ‘Vedic Heritage Portal’

New Delhi, 23 March (HS): Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah on Thursday launched the ‘Vedic Heritage Portal’ prepared by the Indira Gandhi National Center for the Arts (IGNCA). During this, Union Culture and Tourism Minister G. Kishan Reddy and IGNCA President Ram Bahadur Rai were present among others.

The Vedic Heritage Portal has been prepared by IGNCA in Hindi and English languages. Through this portal, readers can understand Vedas in simple language. Audio and visuals of more than 18 thousand Vedic mantras are available in this. Vedic mantras have been explained in simple and easy language on this portal.

People who know Vedas, Veda research institutes, Vedapathi families and Veda experts from all over the world have cooperated in preparing the portal. Kala Kendra has prepared this portal to make the knowledge of Vedas accessible to the common people in simple language. Kala Vaibhav (virtual museum) was also inaugurated during the event. 64 arts have been explained in simple language on the Kala Vaibhav portal.
