Patna/New Delhi, 22 December (HS): On Friday morning, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat arrived at Bhagalpur by train amidst tight security. From Navgachia station, he proceeded to Maharshi Menhi Ashram by road. Upon reaching the Ashram, he was warmly welcomed by the sages and officials of All India Santmat Satsang Mahasabha amid chanting of mantras.
During his 6-hour stay at Kuppaghat, he will meet with saints and inquire about the well-being of Acharya Shri Harinandan Paramhans Ji Maharaj. He will also release the trailer of a film based on Maharishi Menhi. Strict security measures have been put in place for his visit, with Z Plus security cover and deployment of forces in all areas where he will be present.
The ashram is located near Kuppa Ghat, an ancient cave area where Maharshi Menhi practiced yoga and meditation for several months. His convoy, consisting of 14 vehicles along with more than 40 vehicles belonging to Santmat Mahasabha, has been escorted by an SPG team for added security. The presence of Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat has brought about an air of excitement and heightened security in Bhagalpur.
