Bhagwad Gita has solutions to all the world's problems: Amit Shah

Chandigarh, 22 December (HS): Home Minister Amit Shah has said that Geeta is a book that has solutions to all the problems of the world. Many big problems can be solved by following Geeta.

Union Minister Shah was addressing the Sant Sammelan organised at the International Geeta Jayanti Mahotsav in Kurukshetra on Friday. Shah said that 5,000 years ago, on the holy land of Kurukshetra, Lord Krishna had shown a new path to the entire humanity by preaching Geeta for the establishment of religion. If we are successful in spreading the knowledge of Geeta then there can never be a war. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi came here in the year 2014 and gave the message of propagating Geeta globally. Following this, the Manohar Government of Haryana and Swami Gyan Anandji Maharaj have organized grand celebrations of Geeta Jayanti in many countries and this event has now taken an international form.

The Home Minister said that BJP’s beliefs promote culture. During the last nine years, the governments of Central and Haryana have not only run the governance following the teachings of Geeta but have also strengthened mutual brotherhood among the common people. The Central Government has made Kashmir a part of India forever by abolishing Article 370. The Haryana government has also been the first to implement the schemes of the Center and have worked to provide benefits to the people standing at the last end of the society.

Earlier, on reaching Kurukshetra, Shah was welcomed by Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal. Manohar Lal said that the message of Geeta given several thousand years ago is eternal even today. This event, which started in the year 2016, has now taken an international format. The Chief Minister said that there were some challenges in the country after independence. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel created the world’s largest democracy by merging the princely states of the country.

The Chief Minister said that issues like the construction of Ram Temple, and Article 370 were there, but under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah has resolved them easily. The Chief Minister said that with the spirit with which the Central Government has worked during the last nine years, it would not be wrong to call Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Shah the Iron Men of modern India. He said that the decisions taken by the Central Government have not only strengthened the country but also increased India’s pride at the international level. On this occasion, apart from Geeta Manishi Swami Gyananand Maharaj, Yoga Guru Acharya Ramdev, many saints and Mahatmas were present.
