Varanasi, 21 Dec (HS): The third group of Tamil devotees “Godavari” reached Kashi on Thursday to attend Kashi Tamil Sangamam-2. The third group is of professional people. As soon as they landed on the soil of Banaras, the South Indian guests were greeted with the name ‘Vanakkam Kashi’. The city of Banaras also made its guests aware of the feeling of Devo Bhava by reciting Swastiva amidst the beats of drums and showering flowers. All the delegates who reached Kashi will be told about religion, civilization and history. The second academic session for this group will be held on Friday, December 22. Professional delegates from Tamil Nadu will participate in it. This academic session will focus on the challenges and opportunities for Indian professionals. Architect Anil Kinjadvekar will be the chief guest.
Special preparations have been made for the Tamil guests. Special preparations have been made for the guests arriving in Kashi. In this journey, the guests will get a glimpse of the art culture of both Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh. Apart from this, the professional team will also visit Prayagraj and then Ayodhya while visiting Kashi Vishwanath Dham, Kaal Bhairav Temple, Sarnath, Hanuman Ghat, Ganga Aarti and other places.
Kashi will host South Indian guests for 14 days. According to the officials associated with the event, these guests in Kashi will get to know the food, lifestyle and costumes of South India as well as the love and affection of the people there and the people of Kashi towards each other will also be visible. More than 1500 delegates will come to Banaras in groups. There will be presence of 205 delegates in each group. According to Tamil calendar, this time Kashi Tamil Sangamam-2 has been organized in the month of Margali (Margashirsha).
