INDIA Bloc to Protest over Suspension of Opposition MPs with Mock Parliament at Jantar Mantar

Delhi, 21 December (H.S): On Thursday, members of the opposition INDIA bloc in India will gather at Jantar Mantar to hold a protest against the suspension of over 140 opposition parliamentarians.

According to sources, the MPs will also stage a “mock Parliament” as part of their demonstration. The decision to organize this protest was made during a meeting at Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s chamber in the Parliament complex on Wednesday afternoon. It is expected that all suspended MPs will participate in the protest at Jantar Mantar and that Rashtriya Janata Dal MP Manoj Jha will act as the speaker for the mock proceedings.
