Delhi, 15 December (H.S): Kendriya Vidyalayas have been an integral part of India’s education system for over six decades, providing quality education to students across the country.
This esteemed educational community has played a pivotal role in shaping the future of the nation, as recognized by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan’s diamond jubilee.
With over 1,250 schools in India and three abroad, these institutions have nurtured nearly 15 lakh students, contributing to their academic excellence and holistic development.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan also acknowledged the significance of KVS, referring to it as a “banyan tree” and highlighting its role in India’s development. He urged the KVS family to continue their efforts towards nation-building through education, in line with the National Education Policy.
