New Delhi, 11 April (HS): union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said that India’s exports have increased from $500 billion to $765 billion in the last two years. We have to reach $2 trillion in exports by 2030. Goyal said this on the sidelines of the Indo-French business summit held in Paris at a program of the overseas Indian community.
He said that India’s strategic partnership with France is completing 25 years. This relationship will reach great heights in the next 25-50 years. Goyal said it would be because of the popularity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
It is noteworthy that on the occasion of the completion of 25 years of Indo-French friendship, the Indo-French Business Summit has been organized in Paris on 11th April. Piyush Goyal is on a three-day official visit to France and Italy. The Commerce Minister is accompanied by a delegation of top Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of India.
