Delhi, 11 December (HS): On the eighth day of the Parliament’s Winter Session, there are a few significant businesses expected in both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. union Home Minister Amit Shah will be introducing two important Bills related to Jammu and Kashmir in the Rajya Sabha this afternoon. These bills have already been passed in the Lok Sabha. Additionally, the House will see reports being laid by the Standing Committee on Water Resources and the Ministry of Jal Shakti.
There will also be statements made by Ministers on the status of implementing various reports, and private members will present Bills for introduction. Several MPs from different parties will also present copies of reports from different committees related to Personnel, Public Grievances, Law and Justice, Communications and Information Technology, and Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution.
These reports address important issues such as suspension of telecom services/internet, hallmarking and jewellery, and actions taken by the government on previous recommendations. It is expected to be a busy day in Parliament with important discussions and decisions being made on various matters.
