Kalaburagi, 10 Dec (HS): The main suspect in the lawyer murder case in Kalaburagi, the district headquarters town, was apprehended on Sunday, officials said. Neelakanta Patil fled the scene after hacking Eerannagouda Patil in broad daylight on December 7 near the basement of an apartment, according to authorities.
A camera captured the event, which showed the accused chasing the victim. On Saturday night, police claimed they had apprehended Neelakanta but gave no other details. A police source, however, stated that the gruesome murder was most likely the result of a property dispute. Advocates in Kalaburagi and other places have denounced Eerannagouda Patil’s murder.
