Ludhiana, 10 Dec (HS): On Sunday, AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann inaugurated the “Bhagwant Mann Sarkar Tuhade Dwar” project, which aims to provide people with citizen-centric services at their doorstep.
People would receive 43 services under the system, including birth, marriage, death, income, domicile, caste, rural area, border region, backward area, pension, payment of power bills, and land demarcation.
Addressing a crowd following the scheme’s debut, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said it is a momentous day not just for Punjab, but also for the country. “The work that will begin in Punjab is no less than a revolution. This is a historic step,” remarked Kejriwal, who was joined by Mann.
“You are not required to visit offices. Your work will be completed right at your door,” he continued. According to Kejriwal, up to 43 government services would be given to people’s homes. He stated that in order to get these services, customers must phone the helpline number 1076. They would be requested to arrange their appointments at their leisure hours in order to complete their duties, according to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader. According to Kejriwal, his administration in Delhi launched this program in 2018.
