Varanasi, 8 Dec (HS): On Friday around 2:10 p.m., Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak arrived by government chopper at Varanasi’s Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport. He proceeded directly to the terminal building after getting off the chopper.
The Chief Minister was greeted warmly by BJP leaders, who presented him with angvastram and a bouquet of flowers. At 2:15 p.m., the Deputy Chief Minister’s vehicle convoy departed the airport for the city via road. He is likely to take stock of preparations ahead of Prime Minister?s visit to Kashi on December 17.
Among those present were Cantt MLA Saurabh Srivastava, Vidyasagar Rai, Mandal General Secretary Kisan Morcha Durgesh Singh, Madhukar Chitransh, Vinod Kumar, Girja Shankar, and airport protocol in-charge Shailesh Pandey.
