Dehradun, 8 December (HS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Dehradun on a one-day visit on Friday to inaugurate the “Uttarakhand Global Inventors-2023” Summit at the Forest Research Institute (FRI).
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami welcomed Modi. The Prime Minister’s chopper landed at IMA and reached FRI to visit the Strong Uttarakhand Exhibition.
Prime Minister Modi is to inaugurate the grounding of projects worth ?44,000 crore. This includes 16 projects related to the manufacturing and tourism sectors.
Selected industrialists from the country are participating in the inaugural session as eight key speakers. More than a thousand investors and delegates from across the country and the world are participating in this summit. The theme of the summit is “Peace to Prosperity.”
Dhami said that all preparations for the summit have been completed. The state government had set a target investment target of ?2.5 lakh crore at the summit, which has been accomplished. The city has been decorated like a bride for the Inventors Summit.
