New Delhi, 07 December (HS): The overall air quality in the national capital showed an improvement on Thursday morning, according to the data released by the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR).
The average air quality index (AQI) was recorded at 276, which was an improvement from the previous day’s AQI of 286 and Tuesday’s AQI of 297. Despite this improvement, the air quality in many areas of Delhi remained in the “Very Poor” category, as reported by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
This indicates that while efforts are being made to improve the air quality, there is still a long way to go to achieve a significant improvement and provide citizens with clean and healthy air. The continued presence of high levels of pollution in certain areas serves as a reminder that more needs to be done to tackle this pressing issue.
