New Delhi, 6 April (H.S): According to an official spokesperson, President Droupadi Murmu will perform a sortie on the Sukhoi 30 MKI fighter aircraft from the Tezpur Air Force Station on Saturday.
Former President Pratibha Patil flew in the frontline fighter plane in 2009.
According to the spokesperson, President Murmu will tour Assam from April 6 to 8.”The president will fly a sortie on the Sukhoi 30 MKI fighter aircraft at the Tezpur Air Force Station on April 8, 2023,” a source said.
On April 7, she will launch the Gaj Utsav-2023 in Kaziranga National Park, followed by the Mount Kanchenjunga Expedition-2023 in Guwahati.
