New Delhi, 06 January (HS): During the last 24 hours, 228 new Covid cases in India have been registered while 275 people recovered in the same time with no casualties due to the virus.
According to the Health Ministry on Friday, there are 2,503 active Covid cases in the country and a total of 4,41,46,330 people have recovered from it so far.
New Covid Cases Registered in India within 24 Hours
In the last 24 hours, 1.99 lakh tests were conducted across the country taking the tally of total tests conducted so far to 91.17 crore. The country’s current recovery rate is 98.8 per cent and the daily infection rate is 0.11 per cent. 46,450 doses of vaccines were administered in the last 24 hours adding to a total of 220.12 crore vaccines administered in the country so far.
