New Delhi, 6 December (HS): Garba of Gujarat has been included in the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage of humanity. This information was given by union Minister G. Kishan Reddy here today. He said that this is the 15th generation of Indians to receive this prestigious recognition.
He said that the Garba celebration is a tradition symbolising devotion, gender inclusivity, and social equality that transcends geographical boundaries. This list is a testament to the tireless efforts of this government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to showcase our rich culture, traditions, and heritage to the world.
