Crude oil close to USD 80 per barrel
New Delhi, 06 January (HS): Crude oil prices fluctuate internationally. In the last 24 hours, the cost of Brent Crude has jumped more than one per cent to $80 per barrel, and WTI Crude is trending around $ 75 per barrel. However, public sector oil and gas marketing companies have not changed the price of petrol and diesel in the domestic market.
According to the website of Indian Oil, petrol is available at INR 96.72 in Delhi, INR 89.62 in diesel, INR 106.31 in Mumbai, INR 94.27 in Mumbai, INR 106.03 in Kolkata, INR 92.76 in Kolkata, INR 102.63 in Chennai and INR 94.24 in diesel.
Brent crude is trading at $ 79.56 per barrel with an increase of $ 0.87, or 1.11 percent, in the early trade on the fifth day of the week in the international market. At the same time, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude is also trading at $ 74.54 per barrel, up by $ 0.87, or 1.19 percent.
