Gorakhpur, 4 Dec (HS): Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, commended union Minister General VK Singh for defying the stereotype of an Army officer.
“Against the general perception, General Singh is a pure vegetarian, satvik (moral), and fasts a day in a week,” stated UP CM. On Monday, Adityanath and Singh were in Gorakhpur for an event at an educational institution.
Singh, Minister of State for Road Transport, Highways, and Civil Aviation, is one of those whose words and actions are in sync, according to the chief minister. “This is what leads to public trust,” he remarked, praising the Army officer on his former career accomplishment and subsequent political success.
Adityanath outlined the five guiding factors propelling the country to superpower status and the party’s sustained prosperity. According to Yogi Adityanath, the five include independence from a subservient mindset, pride in local customs, a respect for history, the promise of togetherness, and citizens carrying out their responsibilities.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, according to Adityanath, made these five commitments to the country. Adityanath stated, “He has linked the essence of the country to these principles. No one can prevent India from becoming a developed nation and the world’s largest power if its 142 crore people work with these ideals in mind.”
Drawing a broader parallel, he stated that the Prime Minister has followed in the footsteps of Maharana Pratap (after whom the institution is named), mahants Digvijay Nath and Adwaityanath. “All great men share a single goal and a single principle: the nation comes first. They believe that the planet is their mother, and that her magnificence should be preserved in perpetuity,” he remarked.
Both mahants mentioned are from the Gorakshnath Peeth, whose current mahant is Adityanath. Singh went on to say that if “we undertake something for glory, success is certain since the desire for glory is a powerful motivator”.
