Lucknow, 4 April (HS): According to health department data, the number of active Covid-19 cases in Uttar Pradesh has surpassed 500, with 91 additional people testing positive for the virus. Even though daily recoveries stayed at 20, Lucknow reported 13, Gautam Buddha Nagar 10, Ghaziabad 15, and Lalitpur 20 new cases.
Although Chinhat, NK Road, and Sarojini Nagar each had two instances, Alambagh, Aliganj, Qaiserbagh, Indira Nagar, Mohanlalganj, Chowk, and Tudiyaganj each had one.
According to Yogesh Raghuvanshi, district health education officer, four additional patients have been declared recovered in Lucknow, bringing the total number of active cases in the city to 59. “The vast majority of Covid patients are alone at home.
A few people who were hospitalised to hospitals for treatment of other ailments tested positive during their stay.” said Vikasendu Agrawal, the state surveillance officer.
