Dubai/Delhi, 02 Dec (HS):- The Prime Minister returned to Delhi on Friday night after attending the COP-28 summit in Dubai. During his visit, Modi discussed with heads of several nations and UAE President Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Modi invited Nahyan for the ?Vibrant Gujarat? international summit to be held next month.
Modi met Italy?s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and posted a selfie on social media. Besides Meloni, he met British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Prime Minister of Brazil President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, British Foreign Minister David Cameron and ex-Prime Minister Tony Blair.
Modi addressed the four sessions during the United Nations Climatic Changes Summit. He held a discussion with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and informed him about the progress made by India and thanked him for supporting India during the G-20 summit. Guterres appreciated the steps taken by India relating to environmental protection and initiative in the Green Credit mission.
