Fire breaks out in Garikhana, Shillong

Shillong (Meghalaya), December, 02 (HS): Property worth lakhs was gutted in a massive fire that broke out at the Gadikhana in Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya. The blaze erupted at the Magic Cook Flour Mill at Gadikhana in Shillong late last night, police said.

According to police, the fire broke out late at night. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. The fire brigade team, along with the fire brigade vehicles, arrived after receiving information about the fire and managed to control it. However, no casualties have been reported in the fire.
