Resolving Naga issue is first priority: CM Rio

Kohima (Nagaland), December, 01 (HS): Nagaland today celebrated its 61st Statehood Day with a series of programmes across the state. Programs were organized at different places by the state government. Several glimpses of Cultural programmes and processions were witnessed across the state today. Addressing the people of the state who attended the central function on the occasion, Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio said that the highest priority will be given to peaceful resolution of the Naga issue. Continuous efforts are being made by the government in this regard.

He said several rounds of talks have been held on these issues. He expressed hope that the Naga problem would be resolved peacefully soon. Chief Minister greets people of the state on the occasion of Nagaland statehood Day.
