Damoh, 1 December (HS): The number of tigers has increased in India’s largest Rani Durgavati Tiger Reserve. Here, a tigress has given birth to four cubs. The number of tigers here was 16, but after the arrival of new cubs, this number increased to 20.

DFO AA Ansari of the Rani Durgavati Tiger Reserve said that tigress N-112 has given birth to four cubs. All the cubs are completely healthy.

Recently, a large part of Damoh has been included in the Tiger Reserve. Earlier, its name was Nauradehi Sanctuary; now it has been named Rani Durgavati Tiger Reserve. Its area is 23 hundred square kilometers. The areas of Damoh, Narsinghpur, and Sagar districts are included in it.
