Dubai, 01 Dec (HS):- India and UAE are determined to be partners for a green and developed future, India Prime Minister Narendra Modi said during an interview with a prominent newspaper Al-Ittihad, published from UAE. Modi said he believes that the partnership in action for protecting the environment should be based on the capabilities of both nations together.
India is hopeful that the movement to meet climatic challenges will gain pace during the COP-28, being held under the leadership of UAE. The developing nations are not responsible for the climatic issues but are ready to work to resolve the problems.
Modi reached Dubai to participate in the COP-28 summit late in the evening on Thursday. He will participate in different sessions till Friday night, including the inauguration. He will spell out India?s views during the three technical sessions after the inauguration.
Modi was accorded warm welcome by Indian community in UAE.
