Delhi, 1 December (HS): Home Minister Amit Shah will be the chief guest at the 59th Raising Day programme of the Border Security Force (BSF) on December 1 in Jharkhand’s Hazaribagh.
The event will be held for the first time at Meru in Hazaribagh, which is the oldest training centre of the border force. The BSF Training Centre and School at Meru, headed by Inspector General KS Baniyal, will host the parade where Shah will be saluted. The parade, which will showcase several aspects of the BSF’s training and capabilities, will take place at the Rani Laxmi Bai Parade Ground which has been specially adorned for the occasion.
The programme will also feature horses, sniffer dogs, and camels that are integral parts of the force. With the presence of union Home Minister Amit Shah, the 59th Raising Day programme of the BSF promises to be a grand and memorable event for all those in attendance.
It is a fitting tribute to the bravery and dedication of the BSF personnel who work tirelessly to safeguard our borders and protect our nation.
