‘Blue bird’ returns to Twitter, Elon Musk change logo

New Delhi, 7 April (HS): The logo of the micro-blogging site Twitter has changed once again. Elon Musk, the world’s second richest man, has made many changes since taking over Twitter. On April 4, he removed the Twitter icon ‘bird’ and replaced it with a dog, but on Friday, April 7, Musk again put a blue bird on Twitter’s logo.

The picture of the doggy, which was just put on Twitter’s logo by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Twitter, is used as the logo of cryptocurrency ‘Dogecoin’. The reason behind putting the picture of the blue bird back on Twitter is not known. This change was made only on the web version and not on the app. Now the blue bird logo is back on both the web and the app.

The popular social media site Twitter was launched in July 2006. It was founded by Jack Dorsey, Noah Glass, Evan Williams and Biz Stone. Elon Musk bought Twitter on October 27, 2022 for $44 billion. Musk has fired more than 50 percent of Twitter’s 7,500 employees.
