Delhi, 30 January (H.S): The government has called for an all-party meeting on Tuesday, just before the start of the Budget session. This is a regular practice before every session, where leaders from different political parties come together to discuss the issues they want to raise in Parliament.
The government also takes this opportunity to share their agenda and seek cooperation from the opposition parties. This session, which will run from January 31 to February 9, will be a short one as Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is set to present an interim budget before the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The new government will then present a full-fledged budget after the elections.
The session will commence with President Droupadi Murmu’s address, setting the tone for the discussions and debates that will take place in the coming days. This meeting serves as an important platform for political parties to come together and work towards the betterment of the country through meaningful discussions and debates in Parliament.
