The protest is being held in response to the recent arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and the electoral bond issue. This rally follows an earlier announcement by the bloc to hold a joint rally at Ramlila Maidan on March 31 in support of Kejriwal’s arrest.
Gopal Rai, the AAP’s Delhi convenor, confirmed that prominent leaders from the I.N.D.I.A bloc will be present at the event. Along with other leaders such as Atishi and Saurabh Bharadwaj, Rai expressed concerns about the current state of affairs in the nation and stressed the need to protect democracy.
He also stated that all parties belonging to the I.N.D.I.A bloc will come together to safeguard the interests of the nation and uphold democracy. This protest highlights the growing tensions between the ruling BJP and opposition parties, as well as the ongoing debates surrounding issues such as electoral bonds and freedom of expression in India.#NationalInterests #FreedomOfExpression #Tensions
