What is even more impressive is that close to 89% of these complaints were resolved within just 100 minutes. The majority of the complaints, around 73%, were related to illegal hoardings and banners, while over 1,400 complaints were regarding the distribution of money, gifts, and liquor.

The EC had previously urged citizens to use the app to report any violations and inducements during the seven-phase polls that were announced on March 16. With voting taking place between April 19 and June 1, it is evident that the C-Vigil app has been a valuable asset in ensuring a fair and transparent election process.
